Time Capsule Discovered
Exciting discovery
This week, our contractors Huttons, found a 'time capsule' when moving
the Foundation Stone which was situated in the lobby of the old Tetherdown entrance.
This glass jar was wrapped in newpaper dated 20th October 1898 and placed in a space in the Congregational Church foundation stone which was laid in the church on 22nd October 1898. It's contents will be revealed at the next church meeting.
